An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals with a strong administration background to join a rapidly growing business in Gateshead as a Customer Support Specialist. We are currently partnering with a busy organisation to recruit experienced full-time Customer Support Specialists to cover their night shift on an excellent salary of £20,000(20% uplift) and benefits package.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for working processes across all back office areas to ensure that we continue to provide an excellent experience to our customers. This will be a varied role and involves you working with customer data across our diverse customer portofolio, dealing with SLA queries and customer complaints and taking inbound calls. Our client supports UK industry ensuring that businesses can keep moving and deliver goods safely on the roads. Full training will be provided. The position will be on a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off, shift pattern night shift based between the hours of 8pm and 8am or 6pm and 6am with rotational weekends.

You will be based in modern offices and joining a highly efficient administration team, with no one shift being the same. You will have the opportunity to provide exceptional levels of administration support to our customers supporting them in their journey.

Customer Support Specialist - Experience

Applicants for this administrator role will require a strong background in administration, including:

  • Previous experience of working within a busy, high pressured office environment.

  • Good general PC skills including Microsoft Office , specifically Excel and Word.

  • End to end processing of data and exceptions through to successful resolution.

  • Managing key data flows.

  • Logically understanding the reasons for failures and identifying solutions.

  • Handling issues distributed by the business by working exceptions.

  • Resolving normal and complex enquires.

  • Utilising a variety of systems to provide information and help to deliver a first contact resolution to enquires.

  • Dealing with third parties, for example contractors and suppliers.

  • Customer service representative experience or helpdesk experience.

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly telephone manner.
