Credit Control - Up to £24,000 - Manchester City Centre

Working in partnership with Search, this innovative, ambitious and hugely diverse national organisation is seeking a number of Credit Controllers to join their team.

Based in the Manchester Shared Service Centre this role is to ensure that aged debt is at a minimum through proactive chasing and ensure reporting and analysis of this data is accurate and shared across the team / business. The successful candidate will have experience of Credit Control, gained from working in a Shared Service Centre or large organisation.

Key accountabilities include:

  • To proactively investigate and chase debt across a wide-ranging ledger using various systems to ensure team KPI's are met
  • Build relationships with all internal and external Stakeholders.
  • Escalate queries and problem accounts as necessary and engage with various stakeholders to ensure resolution.
  • Aged Debt report updated with Notes to ensure accurate cash collection.
  • Responsible for analysis of data to support the Balance Sheet reconciliations as well as raising periodic journals.
  • Ensure you have a good understanding of all tasks across the team for absence and holiday cover.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure process maps and guides are up to date and new ones implemented where required.
  • Identify and make process improvements to ensure that any risk element is identified and eliminated at source.
  • Identify areas for development and use own initiative to drive change
