**Exclusive role** Court of Protection - Associate Lawyer upwards of 4 years PQE

Due to an internal reshuffle they are seeking an experienced Court of Protection Lawyer to lead their growing department.

The role will include leading more junior members of the team whilst managing a case load of complex affairs, assets and estates of anyone who does not have capacity to manage their own finances. This will include working on deputyship, gifts, Enduring & Lasting Powers of Attorney and replacing deputyships with private trusts. The role will also encompass the general management of property and affairs, whilst providing technical expertise where necessary.

There is a substantial caseload ready and waiting and, in addition, you will want to engage in business development and marketing to further build on the profile of the department.

This role would suit an Associate seeking career progression and more responsibility. Alternatively, someone who may already be in a leading position at another firm looking for a cultural change and/or a new challenge.

To be successful you will

• Have trained and worked within a high performing CoP team
• Have experience of working on a variety of Court of Protection matters for clients with differing capacity needs and issues.
• Be experienced in managing, training and supervising others
• ideally, have Financial Abuse expertise.
