Our client, a leading UK and international law firm, are seeking a 1+ PQE Corporate Associate to join their team in Oxford. As a larger business, they are situated globally with 141 Partners and over 850 people in total. Their main focus areas are Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Commercial, Real Estate, Private Client and Family for which they have established strong reputation.
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded Corporate team. The provide advice to businesses large and small from the UK and around the global on the corporate transactions and the legal issues they face.
Their client base is broad but predominantly covers technology, private wealth, life sciences, property, retail and fashion. They also advise on all aspects of governance and administration of companies. A significant proportion of the work has an international element and they work alongside international networks to ensure seamless delivery of services on cross-border projects.
Summary of the role
The Corporate team in Oxford is seeking to hire an associate with up to two years post-qualification experience. The role will involved working with clients ranging from a number of the UK's most established international companies through to businesses engaging with some of the newest technologies in a team with presence that stretches form the Golden Triangle of Cambridge, London and Oxford to the Golden Gate. Good quality, challenging legal work both in M&A and Venture Capital is on offer, guided by Lawyers regarded as leaders in their field.
There is a strong belief that the development of colleagues is fundamental for long term success and invaluable at all stages. Three of current Associates have recently been promoted to Senior Associate whilst two Senior Associates have become Partners in the last three years.
