My client are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to be based within their Leeds office and support the fee earners in their caseloads. You will be responsible for a variety of activities including providing assistance to clients both over the phone and email, preparing contract papers, run bankruptcy searches and prepare completion statements.
As well as offering a competitive salary of up to £23,000 my client also offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to; 22 days annual leave + 8 public holidays, a company pension and a friendly working environment.
To be a part of this amazing company you will be required to work with the Conveyancing and Commercial property department to prepare billing statements and retrieval of funds from clients, , exchanging contracts, submitting land registry applications, dealing with requisitions and checking the relevant title documents.
To apply for this role it is essential that you have some experience within a conveyancing role. It is key that you can understand and follow the conveyancing processes however, different levels of experience will be considered.
* Experience of working within a conveyancing role/environment
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Working to tight deadlines and able to prioritise own workload
* Good levels of IT skills
* Keen to progress and learn new skills
