Contentious Construction Solicitor
Exciting opportunity with International Firm

3-8 years PQE (or equivalent)

My client an international firm with offices across the world are recruiting for a contentious construction solicitor with 3-8 years PQE (or equivalent) in construction litigation and/or construction insurance.
The Global Construction group is comprised of 9 fee earners and deals with a variety of construction related issues such as Direct Contentious Construction Work, International Arbitration Work, Construction Insurance and General Construction Advice.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a supportive team learning from city lawyers in a niche area. My client has one of the largest and most respected teams in the UK.

The role will be focussed on contentious construction work. You will be expected to read around the subject so able to hold sensible and meaningful conversations with construction and engineering clients and contacts. You will need to be well versed in adjudication procedure and keep up to date with relevant case law or adjudication. You will need to have the ability to draft "pleadings" in adjudications and conduct adjudications. You will also need to be prepared to provide support in international matters and be prepared to run High Court cases in technically complex matters.
You will handle a varied workload in accordance with client protocols and act as a point of contact for clients and experts, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience.

If you would like to apply, please apply as directed.
