Compliance Officer - IFA
Circa £30,000 (negotiable on experience and qualifications) plus superb benefits + fantastic progression opportunities
Established, profitable and growing Independent Financial Advisor organisation are looking to add to their internal compliance team to help manage increasing workloads and ever changing regulatory requirements. The role would be based in Nottingham.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with an extremely experienced Compliance Director and learn from them with a view to taking over more responsibilities as you progress in terms of experience and relevant industry qualifications.
What are we looking for?
Someone from a financial services background who understands the intricacies of a compliance function. You must be extremely comfortable dealing with a variety of back office software programmes and MI/data management. You will be able to collate and understand technical information and be able converse with third parties, colleagues and clients in an articulate, professional and competent fashion. You must be working towards Diploma level 4 qualifications (or ideally have attained them already) and have strong product knowledge across the various FS advice products including pensions and investments. You must be ambitious, determined and driven. The rest will be taught to you via a robust and structured training plan.
