A great opportunity to join a Legal 500 firm based in Hertfordshire as a Company Commercial Solicitor. The firm has a fantastic reputation and being part of the Legal 500 delivers the highest quality of service to its clients.

As a result of planned expansion, the purpose of the role is to join our busy team working on a range of company commercial matters, as well as develop relationships with new clients and to be actively involved in business development. The successful candidate will work alongside the 2 Company Commercial partners, 1 solicitor and 1 secretary. The appointment will be between NQ and 4 years PQE level with broad company commercial experience.

This role is ideal for a solicitor who wants to work in a small but growing and dynamic team of lawyers from City-trained and other backgrounds. Clients range from local owner-managed businesses to multi-national public companies and undertake a range of work including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, shareholders agreements and a variety of commercial contracts.

In addition to the caseload the successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in all aspects of business development including presenting of seminars, writing articles and blogs, networking within the business community, and with key referrers primarily in Hertfordshire and London.
