Commercial Management Accountant

Search Consultancy are currently supporting our growing internationally recognised client with the recruitment of a commercially biased qualified accountant for their site in Blackburn.
The role of Commercial Management Accountant is based in the regional office and will be supporting the business with the production of the period end management accounts pack as well as full analysis and commentary on the results.
The Commercial Management Accountant will also be responsible for their input into the commercial development using key kpi's and management information for this division.
Key Responsibilities include -
- Production of accurate period end management reporting including the P&L and variance analysis.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of detailed costings and analysis
- Production of contract profitability reports, including detailed analysis
- To ensure that all financial controls are fit for purpose, improving and developing as required
- Key stakeholder management
- Production of contract reviews
The key for this role is the ability to deliver the management accounts with a commercial understanding. The Commercial Management Accountant will be a conduit of sorts to operations and will take ownership of the accounts delivery for the contract.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to liaise with stakeholders coupled with real core finance exposure in a busy and varied environment. As a qualified accountant the Commercial Management Accountant will be able to add real value supporting the management team.
