Commercial Litigation Partner or a small team
My client, a long established central London firm, with TOP 200 status are recruiting a lawyer to join their commercial litigation team. The team is rated as 'Top Tier' by the Legal 500, and also commended in Chambers & Partners. Senior team members are recognised as 'Leading Individuals' in the Legal 500 and 'Ranked Lawyer' in Chambers and Partners. The current team comprises of 12 lawyers.
My client is looking for someone ideally at partnership level already or aspiring to attain partnership in the future.
The firm has identified growth in Disputes as one of its core strategic priorities for the next 3-5 years. As part of that, the firm is looking for a senior Disputes lawyer (or possibly a small team) to take a lead role in developing this growing practice area, based in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to further develop their skills and reputation in this practice area at a firm committed to ambitious growth and where individual commercial innovation is actively encouraged.
The area of expertise of the ideal candidate is less important than finding the right person, though they are particularly keen to hear from candidates whose expertise expands existing niche specialisms in arbitration, fraud, contentious IP and contested probate. The team already has specialist sub-teams dealing with Construction, Regulatory (including health & safety) and financial services work.
