City of London
Commercial Litigation Solicitor
Managing Associate level 6 pqe +
Boutique Litigation Firm
Exciting role for a top quality litigator
My client is a boutique disputes and insolvency law firm based in Central London. Their work covers a broad range of commercial litigation and arbitration as well as contentious insolvency.
This client is seeking a talented and ambitious Managing Associate 6 PQE+ to join the team.
They are looking for a "Senior Commercial Disputes Lawyer" to support the Partners in case management and business development, while helping to mentor more junior colleagues. This role would suit a city based litigator who has already been a senior associate in their current firm for a couple of years.
Candidates will ideally have 6+ years of PQE, strong academics, and have a good mix of experience of commercial disputes, asset tracing and insolvency experience across a broad range of industry sectors, and be confident in managing client relationships, workloads and priorities. They are looking for proactive applicants who are ambitious and have lots of drive and enthusiasm.
Candidates should be commercial, able to take initiative without prompting, who are able to approach matters from a commercial as well as a legal perspective. Sound commercial and legal acumen is therefore a necessity, as well as the ability to 'think on your feet'.
This firm are conflict-free and able to act on large disputes with financial institutions and other large corporates, as well as on complex insolvency cases.
It is important that the candidate is someone who will thrive in a boutique firm which does not have other practice areas, has a vibrant external network, excels at thought leadership, can manage client expectations and deliver outstanding quality work.
