Commercial Lawyer - 2 Years+ PQE

As a Commercial Lawyer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing, advising, drafting and negotiating all types of commercial contracts.
• These will include I.T. software, procurement, hardware, telecoms and confidentially agreements.
• Creating and implementing templates and processes to aid delivery.
• Performing all legal and compliance due diligence.
• Working collaboratively with the wider legal function as well as the in-house global team.
• Driving positive change and continuous improvement within the commercial legal function.
• Responsible for identifying key risk and compliance issues, creating solutions.
• Acting as point of escalation for the junior legal team, using your experience, knowledge and judgement.
• Working with the junior legal team on mentoring and coaching programmes, developing the next generation.

For the Commercial Lawyer role, you must be:

• 2 years PQE+ in England and Wales jurisdictions in a commercial legal setting.
• Commercially aware and provide pragmatic, strategic business advice.
• Working for a leading law firm or have demonstrable in-house experience in a commercial legal setting.
• Experienced in working with large businesses and managing a varied caseload of legal work for blue-chip companies.
• A Collaborative team player who can work both independently and with a wider legal function.
• Some experience of supervising junior legal members is advantageous.
