A rare opportunity has arisen within the Commercial department of one of the UK's leading House builders; based out of their North-West regional office in Preston.

The company are looking to meet with highly self motivated individuals with a commercially astute mind set & a willingness to learn new things & achieve results.

The role will initially commence as a Commercial Administrator, although the company intends to train & developer the appointed person with a view to them progressing to Assistant QS / Buyer level within a 12-24 month period.

This role would be perfectly suited to someone who has worked within the Commercial department of a Construction company before & has a keen interest in pursuing a career in either Quantity Surveying or Buying (Purchasing)

If you have had previous exposure to a role similar to one of the below job titles you may also be a good fit for the role.

1. Commercial Assistant / Administrator
2. Technical Assistant / Administrator
3. Assistant Buyer

The company will also consider graduates for this position, ideally those with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or business Studies.
