I'm working with a fantastic client who are looking for their next Collections Advisor! My client always puts the customer at the heart of what they do and they need their next candidate to believe in this. Collections experience is preferred for this role however, not essential as full training will be provided.

This vital role in the business will be to support customers with payments and debt management services. As a Collections Advisor you would be to contacting current and former customers in relation to their overdue energy bills. This requires excellent customer service as you will be conducting an accurate assessment on the customers financial circumstances to set up affordable repayment plans!

Communication is key to this fast paced, exciting role - it requires an empathetic ear as well as fantastic customer service skills!

What would my duties include?

  • Manage and resolve customer enquires
  • Keeping the customer database up to date
  • Proactively support customers to maximise collections and reduce aged debt
  • Supporting vulnerable customers and liaising with the appropriate teams
  • Develop knowledge on the internal systems
  • Inbound and outbound calls
  • Most importantly … providing fantastic customer service!

Currently my client is working remotely and will be providing all the technical equipment you need! All you would need a designated work space in your home including a desk and appropriate chair. They will be returning to the office when it is safe to do so for the business. This is a 3 month fixed term contract paying £9.50 per hour!
