Collections Agent - Ardrossan, Up to £23,000

We're working with a well-established collections company who work on behalf of some of the UK's most famous household names.

What you'll need

  • You must pass a credit check.

  • You must pass a disclosure check.

  • You must have at least 6 months customer service experience.

  • You must be proficient in administration.

You must have a minimum of six months previous customer service experience and be a natural when talking to customers over the phone. Part of the skill is to listen, understand and build rapport so that you can establish the best course of action for them.

If you have previous collections or financial services experience then all the better. However they will teach you everything you need to know and support you to become the best collections agent you can be.

Although working in debt management is challenging, the focus here is very much on providing excellent customer service. Helping customers work out a solution that they are happy with and which will help solve their problem. The company is regulated by the Financial Services Association and have a very ethical approach to debt management. They wouldn't be trusted by so many big names if that wasn't the case.

What to expect

As a collections agent you'll talk to customers over the phone to understand their circumstances and agree the best repayment solution for them. The focus will be on having quality conversations with customers, via inbound and outbound calls and give them an excellent customer experience.

This role will be on site where you will receive 2 weeks excellent induction training with further grad bay support. You will work 37.5 hours a week on a rotational shift pattern between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and every second Saturday.
