Onsite parking! Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Are you a customer service advisor with collections experience looking to get back into normal office working hours with no weekends?

Based just a short distance out of the city centre and with on site parking which will save on your parking costs this position could be just what you're looking for with the long summer nights coming in, it is also on an easy bus route.

We are looking for collections advisors who have experience in working towards targets; you will be speaking to customers, who have fallen behind in payments for utility bills, Council tax or even phone bills.

As a collection advisor you will be investigating why payments haven't been made and trying to get a payment over the phone and to set up payment plans. Some of the conversations you have will be customers who are having financial difficulty and could be upset or even angry, so you need to have a warm voice and have empathy. This is an outbound calling role where you will build rapport with customers to have effective and honest conversations with customers. You will establish there needs and requirements and discuss payment options.

A background in collections or banking would be ideal, however, someone with strong sales experience who is looking to move away from traditional cold calling into the collections sector.

You must be able to communicate well both verbally and written as you will be speaking with a variety of customers and will have experience within a customer focused, sales or collections role.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday with no weekends. Normal shifts will be 8.30am - 5.30pm although there could be times when you might be asked to work till 8pm.
