Our client is a leading tank distributor based in the North West. They pride themselves on delivering a 1st class service to their ever expanding customer network. As a driver you will be working with non hazardous liquid loads and required to move their tanks around the UK.

The operation operates 24/7 and requires drivers to drive efficiently and safely due to the nature of the load often being high value.


Driving a Class 1 Truck (all trailers will be a tanker). You will be trunking around the UK, similar experience driving a tanker would be an advantage. The majority of the work will be dropping and swapping tanks across their own depot network and customer network.

Start Times on days vary between 0500-0700 and are predominantly Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.


  • Drivers must have a Class 1 (C+E) Licence, digital tacho card and Drivers CPC
  • For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence
  • Knowledge of tanks and live loads is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of WTD and Road Signs

Excellent rates of pay:

Days - £13.00 ph

Nights - £14.00 ph

Saturday - £15.50

Sunday - £17.50

Shift patterns are normally Monday to Friday but weekend work can be available as and when the business requires.

Day shift - typically starts between 0400-0700

Night shift - typically starts between 1800-2000

For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence. You must also have a Digital Tachograph Card and excellent knowledge of Working Time Directive.
