We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Restaurant, Pub or Hotel Chefs of Chef De Partie and Sous chef level who are looking for that perfect permanent role but want to try before you buy!
Many of our clients whom we are currently supplying temporary staff to are looking for permanent members of staff. We are proposing that you start in one of these places as a temporary member of staff and get the chance to really see what it is like working there before deciding if you want to accept a job there. This gives you a chance to see far more than you do by doing a 1 day trial and to actually spend some time with the team. This is a great way of trying out some of the local places before you make a decision and commit to anything.
I am currently looking for a Chef De Partie and Sous Chef for a fantastic fresh food pub in the Reigate area. Menus are changed every 6 weeks to keep you on your toes! You will be given the opportunity and encouraged to contribute menu ideas - no core/branded menus here!
I have had a chance to tour the site and meet with the team myself, it has a very individual vibe with not a branded item in sight. The general manger really cares about keeping staff happy which is demonstrated by several of them having been there for a number of years. The kitchen is much bigger (and better) than most pub kitchens I have seen. After having spent a while with the team myself, they all have really positive things to say about working there including 'there is a real family feel to this team'.
While you are a temporary member of Search you will enjoy:

* A hard working and reliable attitude
* A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or 6 months in a professional kitchen environment
* In depth Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
* Access to your Own chef whites and knives
* But most importantly a genuine passion for creating great quality food
