Monday to Friday DAY TIME HOURS ONLY
Work Life balance in a fresh innovative venue that has a very cool atmosphere, this is not something that you hear often with a Chef role but that is exactly what this role is.
My Client is looking for a chef that has come from a contract catering background. You will need to have great cooking skills but also be able to impeccably manage your time, as part of the business is hospitality. On a daily basis you and your team will have to look after the restaurant services along with any hospitality that comes in
The restaurant provides a very relaxed menu to its customers and is looking for the right Chef that will take control and create something that is new, innovative and current with today's food trends. A breakfast and lunch offering on a daily basis for around 120 staff members is provided.
You will be responsible for a team of 3 and you will have complete control of training them daily to set standards and specs. You will have access to the large main kitchen that has an abundance of amazing equipment for your use to help design a future menu.
This would suit a chef that will be looking for a better work life balance as the venue only works Monday to Friday for lunch and breakfast. You will be required to work 5 out of 5 with NO WEEKENDS. We will need you to show strength and control in the kitchen along with the ability to mange your and all staffs time accordingly, so a well executed rota is a skill you need to posses.
We would also consider a strong sous chef that is looking to progress to a Head Chef position with out working a 70 hour week. This really is a great venue with an amazing vision and has very grand plans for the very near future.
