Job Description:
Search are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Operations Manager with an understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams, ensuring buy-in from staff, and managing a wide array of business operations.
The client has an impressive track record of delivering a diverse range of projects in both the residential and commercial sectors making the role an exciting a varied opportunity. This position plays a pivotal role in optimising the client's internal processes, overseeing reporting cycles, providing support to executives, and enhancing overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring staff buy-in for company goals and objectives.
* Operational Efficiency: Streamline and optimise business operations to maximise productivity and efficiency, improving project delivery timelines and cost-effectiveness.
* Reporting Cycles: Develop, implement, and manage reporting cycles to provide timely and accurate data to support decision-making processes at all levels of the organisation.
* Workload Management: Effectively manage a large workload, prioritising tasks and ensuring all responsibilities are met in a timely manner.
* Team Dynamics: Handle a diverse team of individuals, fostering cooperation and collaboration for a cohesive work environment.
* Escalations: Address and resolve escalations from site teams promptly and professionally, ensuring minimal disruptions to project progress.
* Technology Adoption: Embrace new technology, systems, and processes to drive innovation and improve operational effectiveness. Keep up-to-date with industry-specific software and tools.
* Employee Engagement: Plan and organise team management days, team events, and training sessions for staff to foster team bonding, boost morale, and enhance professional development.
* Learning and Development: Identify training requirements by assessing staff skills and performance. Develop comprehensive Learning and Development (L&D) plans to facilitate ongoing employee growth and skills enhancement.
* Team Coordination: Conduct regular weekly meetings with the team to ensure open communication, discuss progress, address challenges, and promote a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
* Proven experience in business operations management, preferably with a background in related industry.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Tech-savvy, with a willingness to adopt and adapt to new technologies.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Understanding of general business operations, including procurement, budget management, HR, and office maintenance, to facilitate issue resolution and support various aspects of the organisation.
* A vibrant, and entrepreneurial outlook, with a passion for contributing to the success of a growing business.
