Job title: Business Development Manager (UK)
Salary: £60,000 + Commission
Location: Remote
Reports to: Sales Director


I am exclusively partnered with a specialist manufacturer and supplier of temperature-controlled packaging and regulatory-compliant sample transport solutions.


Headquartered in the UK, the business has manufacturing facilities in USA, Ireland, Germany, India, and Malaysia as well as distributors and partners across the globe. Their goal is to be recognised as a global leader, providing high-quality environmentally safe, temperature-controlled and sample transport solutions to clients worldwide


The Role:
This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the new business growth of the company through the following;

  • Establishing new accounts and developing existing client relationships
  • Focusing on the pharmaceutical, clinical trials and regulatory compliant packaging verticals.
  • Achieving set targets, developing and promoting the companies brand
  • Reviewing and understanding the complex and emerging markets to target
  • Negotiating pricing and contracts
  • Managing and maintaining customer leads
  • Understand and interpret complex sale knowledge of the life sciences industry



Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership to develop, build, manage and maintain client relationships within the Life Sciences market sector
  • Lead and manage the submission of proposals and tenders to obtain new business.
  • Negotiation of contracts with clients' procurement functions.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external functions within client companies to develop products, such as; marketing; quality, warehousing & distribution and procurement departments
  • Ensure full project management and product development services are delivered to the client.
  • Achieve and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's products, services and capabilities, their market sector and competitors.
  • Use the CRM system to report annual sales forecast, monthly sales figures and any ad hoc sales reports.
  • Develop and manage individual business plan to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Support and embrace the Company's core values
