I am currently representing one of Glasgow's most interesting success stories within the IT market. Going from Strength to Strength, the client in question has grown the business from being a start up to one of the most respected names in the SME market for both telecoms and IT provision.
My client is looking for someone who is a true New Business Hunter to join the business as a Business Development Manager to focus on the Managed IT Services side of the business. Working out of the Glasgow office, you would be responsible for closing business, acting as a consultant to clients through meetings, analysis and recommendations.
As this is a new business focussed role there is a massive focus on establishing new relationships with decision makers and maintaining this to increase future business and drive a referral network.
You must be professional in your approach and come from a corporate type background (professional services, accountancy, recruitment, software, IT and managed services) with a demonstrable track record in new business sales, ideally from a B2B environment. Although you may not have an existing knowledge of IT based products, it would be advantageous to have worked in the industry.

On top of this, you will have the chance to earn well with a strong basic salary, high OTE, car/allowance and various company incentives/benefits. There will be various areas of support however you must be comfortable in your ability to drive new business.
