We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a Health & Social Care background to work for an organisation in Manchester to help grow their range of support and care services.

The annual salary ranges between £34,710 - £39,172 with excellent benefits which include a healthcare plan, free access to local leisure facilities, childcare vouchers and many more.

The services this organisation provides help people to live independently in their own homes and are funded either directly or by local authorities and include sheltered housing, extra care housing and care at home services and the main purpose of the role is to grow these services both in scale and profitability.

Building on the current success of this organisation, you will secure steady growth in key market segments for each of the services growing the self funder and private pay markets, build business cases for new services and growth opportunities, work with other colleagues to evaluate, prepare and deliver bids and proposals and encourage innovation and diversification within the business.

To be successful in this role you will need to be customer focused and experienced in driving commercial opportunities, have knowledge of pricing, contracts and high level negotiation skills, have strong commercial knowledge of care and support services or similar and be highly organised.
