We are working on an exciting role with a National Publisher and conference / Events business. This organisation have been in business for over 20 years and are a household name in business information, news, events, conferences, and digital and print based business publications. Their industry specific events are seen as the "go-to" place to be within their clients' market whether that is a small business or a heavyweight player.

With a true footprint across the UK and a very stable team an opportunity has arisen to join the business in their Yorkshire region, replacing someone who has been with the business for a long time. A typical week will see you networking with clients in the areas. You will spend one or two days a week in the office attending Sales meetings, and managing your diary so that you are out on patch making the most of your week developing both new and existing business for the remainder of the week. Big brand clients are the likes of KPMG, Morrisons, HSBC all the way down to regional SME's that are emerging and equity backed.

Base salary circa 35-45k plus a bonus to circa 60k plus a car allowance. This is a true commercial all-rounder role as you will be responsible for developing new accounts alongside growing existing ones. You will retain and grow any account you win in the following year too so this role truly rewards once you have developed your client base sufficiently. Ideal candidates will have some strong consultative solution based sales experience and a strong track record of working with key decision makers in any market where you can evidence you are someone who gets results and adds value. You do not necessarily need to have industry experience if you have a proven tack record.
