Business Development Manager (Field and national travel); Basic salary of £25,000 with OTE of £50,000+ per annum (Uncapped commission scheme with incredible earnings potential) plus Company Car, 25 days+ 8 days holiday, 5% employer pension contribution

A leading B2B Telecommunications business in Manchester is on the hunt for a driven Business Development Manager with almost limitless industry competitive earnings potential! Working alongside the Head of Sales and Sales Executive, this newly created Business Development Manager position will also provide a fluid work schedule where no one day is the same; with an approximation of at least 4 days a week on the road, covering an expansive region of the United Kingdom - Essentially, you will only be limited by your own ambition to seek out business' and close them on both industry leading multi-product and subscription basis'. Possessing exceptional communication and presentation skills, the Business Development Manager will ideally have a consultative manner, listening to the needs of the customers first, while also thinking on their feet in terms of commercials.

The duties & responsibilities of this new Business Development Manager job will include (but by no means be limited to):

* Managing both in-bound and proactive lead generation in order to build sales prospect list utilising the business' CRM
* Setting an independent sales strategy and putting this into effect
* Cold calling and prospecting new business' including "warm" calls to existing customers
* Attending self booked meetings across the United Kingdom, closing business executive, C-suite, and senior manager levels on the day

Person requirements:

* 2 years minimum B2B services sales experience (desired)
* The ability to pick up and learn technical ideas and terminology quickly
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Natural ability within and capability to learn computer programs (Word / PowerPoint / CRM
* systems)
* Full UK driving License with the availability for frequent UK travel / potential overnights
