Business Development Executive - Permanent - Rotherham - up to £20,000 plus company car, mobile and fuel card - Monday -Friday with an early Friday finish

I am looking to recruit a Business Development Executive for a packaging company in Rotherham who are going from strength to strength. We are looking to speak with candidates who are looking to start a long term career within the sales industry who are self sufficient, motivated and passionate in what they do.

The role will involve cold calling to start with to build your client base but the company would rather you out and about visiting businesses in South Yorkshire to promote the product so eventually most of your day will be spent on visits.

The main duties and responsibilities for the Business Development Executive are as follows:

* Delivering excellent customer service and communication
* Identify, target and develop new business opportunities
* Developing relationships with key decision makers
* Account management
* Visiting businesses within South Yorkshire
* Presenting and reporting
* Understand company needs any identify appropriate packaging solutions
* Working towards company targets
* Use of most Microsoft programmes

Skills needed of the Business Development Executive:

* Sales experience is essential ideally within a B2B setting
* Fantastic progression opportunities
* Strong work ethic
* Good negotiation skills
* IT Literate
* Target driven
* Driving licence

The company offer a salary increase rather than commission after you hit your target 3 times consecutively it goes straight up! They feel getting you on a higher basic quickly is more beneficial than staying on the same basic for years earning commission. I spoke with the manager today and his salary has doubled in 3 years!!
