Business Development Executive
Specialising in commercial law, our client work closely with companies of all shapes and sizes to help them navigate the world of business law. They seen significant success and growth in recent years and are looking to bring on new talent in their Business Development Team!
You'll be tasked with driving new business by following warm and cold leads, utilising consultative selling methods and relationship building to ensure you understand the needs of your customers and offering the best possible solution.
* Pipeline management
* Maintaining product and service knowledge
* Competitor knowledge and analysis
* Building connections at all levels of the customers business to maximise opportunities
Whilst this role is based in the Birmingham office, it will require frequent travel to meet with customers to better understand their business and present sales pitches.
Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role, where relationship building and influencing was key to success. Willingness to travel the UK is essential as some overnight stays will be inevitable.
Experience and knowledge of the general insurance industry is essential, as you will be a trusted advisor to your clients selling in the relevant products and services.
You will also be presenting to Brokers and Insurers so being able to handle those kinds of professional relationships is key!
