An opportunity has arisen to join the IT arm of a prestigious academic organisation in the East Midlands area.
This organisation ensures high quality education is provided for thousands of children across over 30 schools, with an emphasis being put on the use of technology in the classroom and equal access to children of all backgrounds.
What will I be doing in this job?
You will be tasked with relationship building throughout all aspects of the organisation. You need to act as something of a translator between the technical IT team and other non-technical teams.
You'll work with stakeholders of all sorts, discussing their issues and helping to put together the foundations for forward-thinking solutions.
From day-to-day, you'll map the relationships between the legacy and new systems, perform as-is/to-be analysis and risk analysis on potential projects and report your findings to various stakeholders, and keep well-documented records of any projects that are ongoing or completed.
What sort of experience will I need?
Nothing too out of the ordinary, you'll need:
* Demonstrable experience of Business Analysis within a complex, technical environment
* Experience of working within an IT change environment, or on IT Change projects
* Knowledge of operating under ITIL guidelines
* Prince II or Agile methodology exposure
* Significant understanding of BA frameworks, value cycles, Business Processes and Requirements, and the UAT testing stage
And what about remuneration?
Ah, so you want to talk money? No problem - with this role, you can expect to receive up to £50,000 per annum alongside a raft of benefits to make your time with the organisation easier and more rewarding.
