Business Analyst

Search Consultancy are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst for a leading academic organisation in Greater Manchester. The Business Analyst will be joining the organisation during an exciting transition stage of their digital programme.

The Business Analyst will have skills and experience in the following areas.

Business process mapping

Producing/contributing to tender documents for software packages/platforms.

Scoring of tender submissions against set criteria.

Presenting work in both written and oral formats.

Working with internal and external stakeholders to map as-is business processes.

Working with internal and external stakeholders to re-engineer business processes making increasing efficiency and/or efficacy, including risk and cost-benefit analysis.

Producing written reports and making presentations both face-to-face and virtually.

Working at all levels in an organisation.

Working on projects/programmes in the education sector.

Working on IT change projects/programmes.

The Business Analyst will have responsibility for the following areas within the organisation.

Analyse, document and validate business processes with functional areas across the organisation.

Understand business needs of key functional areas and key external stakeholders.

Produce proposals for reengineering business processes with benefits and associated risks and communicate to key stakeholders in written format and be able to present these orally as and when necessary.

Influence key stakeholders internally and externally to accept proposed changes to business processes, championing the benefits.

Provide a pathway to introduce proposed changes to business processes, including championing the changes, identifying and delivering any training necessary. Support teams through implementation, identifying any changes needed and gaining agreement for implementation.

Assist in the production of tender documents for the key components of the Digital Transformation Programme as well as in scoring submissions against agreed criteria and business requirements.
