Job Title: Bookkeeper/Senior Finance Officer

Location: LS9 + Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to £28k

My client is an exciting, £5 million turnover charity that has just entered their new 3 year growth plan. This role reports into the Finance Manager who you will support with finance, admin and payroll duties.

Main Duties:

  • Opening and distribution of post
  • Filing (bank statements/cheque requisitions/sales invoices etc)
  • Processing of sales invoices
  • Processing of purchase invoices
  • Daily Banking
  • Update cash book and posting of payments/receipts onto ledgers
  • Dealing with suppliers
  • Monitor debtors
  • Reconcile supplier statements and chase missing invoices
  • Purchase Ledger BACS run
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll

Person Specification:

  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Able to prioritise workload to meet client deadlines without close supervision
  • Reliable, flexible and professional
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective team worker
