Our client is a long established Scottish Construction Contractor who deliver a wide range of projects across the Central Belt and beyond.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join the business on a permanent basis in a role that can offer excellent career development opportunities.

The assistant will work closely with the Site Project manager to ensure the smooth delivery of new build commercial projects that can range form £500K - £15M with a remit to oversee site activities daily making sure that H&S is at the forefront of all operations, checking quality, directing sub contractors,assisting with the management and movement of plant and materials and generally upholding the excellent standards on behalf of stakeholders.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Min 3 Years experience gained within a main / principal build contractor
  • Degree / HND in Construction Management or equivalent accreditation
  • Strong process management skill set
  • Good paperwork and IT skills
  • Excellent communication both oral and written
  • Stable permanent employment history
  • Full UK Driving License
  • SMSTS 5 Day
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid
