Assistant Management Accountant - Up to £28,000 - Manchester City Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a city centre organisation who are a market leader within their sector.

The Assistant Management Accountant will assist and support the Finance Partner and Management Accountant with all aspects of accounting and project costings functions across the Group.

The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional qualification, AAT, CIMA or ACCA and have experience of month end processes. Candidates will have excellent business partnering experience and be confident at dealing with non finance stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Project Financial Reporting
• Finance/Project Partner
• Issue Partners monthly individual KLS reports to confirm Billing & Review fees
• Liaise with Finance Assistant to ensure cost information is updated accurately
• Review and analysis of Project and Overhead time
• To help develop and improve reporting systems
• Maintain Cashflow
• Check Bank's daily send out updates of cash received
• Send Weekly / monthly bank statements to Finance assistant
• Issue Cashflow Reports Weekly to Finance partner & Senior Partners
• Prepare Partner Project Debtors Statements
• Management Accounts
• Ensuring month end procedures and timetable are adhered to by the finance team.
• Review Monthly P&L
• Prepare MI information
• Prepare Management Pack for Partners
• Preparation of Quarterly Budget review to be issued to Senior Partner
• Prepare Group Consolidated Accounts
