Assistant Financial Accountant
Salary to £30,000 plus benefits package
Search Consultancy are currently supporting our corporate client with the recruitment of a part qualified Assistant Financial Accountant to join our busy team in Cannock.
This role reports to the Fixed Asset Manager and you will be required to build key relationships with stakeholders across the business. The Assistant Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate management of the UK Group's centralised asset processes including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditure, plus reporting of Group fixed assets.
Key responsibilities include -
* The auctioning of all asset requests in an accurate and timely manner, according to set SLA's, including the physical verification of assets
* To be responsible for the Balance Sheet reconciliation and justification for asset related accounts
* Process asset commissioning, acquisitions, transfers, disposals, lease postings etc.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience -
You will be a studying part qualified Accountant, ideally with knowledge of SAP or a dedicated Fixed Asset software. Along with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
As a self starter, you must be able to work unsupervised, in an organised way, whilst still being committed to delivering within timescales.
Strong inter-personal skills are required to liaise confidently with other parts of the Business and an awareness of how to produce related Financial and Statutory asset notes.
