Search Consultancy are partnered with a nationwide retail brand who are experiencing high levels of growth in the online market and are looking for a part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join their ever growing team
The successful individual will be career focused, enthusiastic, possess great communication skills and have advanced knowledge of Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Performing reconciliations between the general ledger and operational systems
- Support month end process including verifying and booking accruals
- Investigating and resolving variances
- Posting journals and updating source systems to clear issues
- Processing credit cards and expenses
- Providing support with various financial administrative tasks
- Dealing with ad-hoc queries sent through to the accounting mailbox and supporting the wider finance team.
Person Specification:
- Intermediate excel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A quick learner who works well under pressure
- Effective time management, organisational skills and ability to deliver on time * Self-starter with a hands-on approach
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
