Assembly Operator

Search are proud to be working with a fast growing company on the recruitment of a Assembly Operator join their manufacturing site based in Blaydon. This role is a permanent opportunity with great career progression opportunities on a Monday to Friday day shift, with an early finish on the Friday
Responsibilities
- To work on products or components, by hand or otherwise, as instructed in accordance with manufacturing instructions
- To operate equipment/machines as directed
- Assembly and testing of modules
- Responsible for pre-production and production assembly of units
- Follow assembly drawings for pre-production and Standard Operating Sheets for production
- Completion of build documentation
Experience
- Must be flexible and able to work overtime hours (paid at a higher rate)
- Must be happy to undertake a "hands on / physical" role
- Team player
- Able to undertake heavy lifting
- Previous production experience
- Enthusiastic, ''can do'' attitude
- Able to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work to deadlines.
