Are you a care coordinator with experience managing teams of carers and registered nurses? An opportunity has arisen for a Care Team Area Manager to lead the teams and services in the Yorkshire and Humber region. This highly responsible position comes with a salary of £40k per annum.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, the Area Manager will be responsible for existing services across Leeds, York, Easingwold, Hull and Scarborough. You will be leading the transition of new services in the area to ensure all services are of the highest standards and in line with current legislation.

The job is being offered initially on a 6-month fixed term contract basis, with potential for an extension. The role will suit a healthcare coordinator or patient services coordinator who has worked in a similar care management role, with experience of Supported Living services.

The services your teams cover provide support for individuals with autism, mental health issues and complex needs through the Enhanced Supported living framework and Transforming Care agenda, requiring a high standard of specialised, person centred care.

Your day to day Area Manager responsibilities:
? Instructing teams in the day-to-day operational management of support services
? Inspiring and managing staff to maintain high levels of performance, best practises and alignment to core values
? Promoting services and activities to clients, carers, and the general public
? Safeguarding clients' right to privacy and dignity through respectful and collaborative personal care

The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced patient care coordinator who is passionate about care and deeply committed to helping people with additional needs. You'll be a great team leader, able to instruct and motivate people.
