Highlights of this Allocations Officer role:
As an Allocations Officer, based in or around the Redcar area and earning £14.50 per hour, you'll carry out the day-to-day empty homes process from 'keys in to keys out', ensuring that vacant homes are let in the shortest timeframe possible, through the provision of excellent customer-focused service.
In this role, you will also advertise and market empty homes in ways that effectively deal with hard-to-let and low-demand properties. You should have previous Allocations Officer experience or experience as a Housing Officer or Accommodation and Allocations Officer.
The ideal Housing Allocations Officer will:
? Have an understanding of all relevant legislation
? Have a Level 3 qualification in a housing subject, or equivalent, or be willing to work towards obtaining this qualification within 24 months of appointment
? Have experience of working in a social housing area or a frontline customer-facing environment
? Have excellent communication skills and a can-do, friendly and inclusive manner to both colleagues and clients
