Search Accountancy & Finance are currently working on an excellent job opportunity that has arisen for an Accounts Payable Manager with a market leading organisation. This is a full-time, permanent role based in the Glasgow area.

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable manager to motivate and deliver outstanding performance across our energy clients Accounts Payable function. Working full-time with flexible working patterns available you'll live within a commutable distance to Motherwell or Glasgow, and you'll earn a full-time salary of up to £54,000 depending on your finance skills and experience.

The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the processing and payment of all invoices for Group.

As a collaborative and inclusive manager, you'll implement change that results in an improvement to payment performance while also driving and maintaining critical partnerships with all stakeholders. You'll ensure risk to payment performance is minimised and embed a strategy for effective change management within the AP Function, creating an inclusive culture where change is embraced and sustained.
The Accounts Payable Manager is accountable for the day-to-day management and performance of the Accounts Payable team.

When required, you'll deputise for the Group AP Manager

The successful accounts payable candidate will need experience of leading an Accounts Payable Function within a challenging and collaborative environment. You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of managing customers effectively, including a range of stakeholders and positively contributing to the overall direction of the Accounts Payable function. Alongside a high level of self-motivation with the ability to work within an agile environment, you'll have a flexible attitude to your working location.
