Accounts Payable Clerk // Permanent // Tameside

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a sustainable and innovative business in the Droylsden area.

Joining a small and friendly finance team, this role will allow somebody to build on and develop their existing experience, whist establishing excellent relationships with internal and external contacts.

The role will include:

  • Invoice processing
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Setting up new accounts
  • Providing copy invoices and credits
  • Dealing with queries to their resolution or escalating
  • Developing excellent internal and external relationships


Experience required:

  • Previous experience of working on the purchase ledger
  • Good systems experience
  • An eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player with an adaptable attitude
  • An eye for process improvement
