Accounts Assistant required for our established client in Chester to start immediately. The Accounts Assistant will report into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of accounts including PL, SL, Banking, Month end duties and also Payroll. The Accounts Assistant will have experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. The role will be very fast paced and you will be working as part of an exciting and growing SME.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Purchase Ledger - allocating purchase invoices and reconciling supplier accounts
* Processing payments including e-commerce and paypal
* Processing sales invoices
* Responsible for month end duties and tasks
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing month and weekly payroll using Sage Payroll
* The candidate will be either AAT qualified or studying towards AAT or equivalent
* Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll
* Experience of working in a similar environment
