Criminal Record Checks

There are three main checks we can carry out on your behalf, depending on the role or sector you're recruiting in.

Basic Disclosure

This check searches the Police National Computer (PNC) for convictions which are unspent under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

Standard Disclosure

A more detailed check for all spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings on the Police National Computer (PNC). In order to submit a DBS application for a standard check, an individual must meet certain eligibility criteria.

Enhanced Disclosure

This level of criminal record check discloses details of all spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, inclusion on children's or adults lists (if it's relevant to the job) and warnings on the Police National Computer (PNC).
