Search celebrates one year of recruitment website success

Search Consultancy is delighted to celebrate one year of success since the relaunch of the agency’s recruitment website: www.search.co.uk.

The past 20 years have seen a significant shift in job-seeker behaviour, and widely published research shows that one third of all Google search queries are job-related.

Just weeks before Google for Jobs swept across the UK last year, Search relaunched its website, with the aim to enhance online presence, better engage with an increasingly tech-savvy talent pool and maximise the opportunities which have arisen from disruption in the market.

Shortly after the relaunch, Search Consultancy was awarded the Best National Recruitment Agency accolade at the 2018 National Online Recruitment Awards. Search.co.uk was evaluated through the candidate’s perspective, looking at ease of use, design, layout and speed amongst other criteria.

Over the past 12 months, Search has seen tremendous success, with a 51 percent increase in temp placements made from candidates applying through the website. Search.co.uk also generated a 58 percent increase in candidates placed into permanent positions over the past year.

The increase in job applications through search.co.uk has resulted in the website outperforming the major job boards for Return on Investment.
