Recruiter one of just six ‘elite’ companies to hold highest Investors In People accreditation
Leading recruitment agency Search Consultancy has been awarded Platinum accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management.
Investors in People is the international Standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.
Platinum is the highest level of accreditation available, introduced in 2015, and this elite award recognises a truly outperforming organisation and represents the top percentile of Investors in People organisations worldwide.
Search joins just five other organisations that have received the prestigious platinum award to date.
Grahame Caswell, CEO of Search Consultancy – which has 13 offices across Scotland and England – said it was a tremendous achievement for the company.
He added: “We have a team of exceptional people here at Search and we are wholeheartedly committed to investing in them, as this fantastic accolade demonstrates.
“We have a range of initiatives in place to motivate and reward our team of more than 600 hard-working staff members, which in turn allows us to retain and attract fantastic talent.
“We are already on a drive to recruit even more skilled staff at a variety of levels across our UK offices and no doubt word of this new accolade will help us in continuing to recruit the best of the best.”
Search was assessed by IIP practitioner John Hutchison who praised the company and its staff for their open-ness and passion.
He was particularly impressed with the company’s senior leaders whom he described as ‘inspirational and down to earth’, reporting: “They bring in creativity, passion and such enthusiasm to the business. They are role models in the way they led, care and support their staff.
“You are constantly learning from the emerging future and this is happening at all levels in Search. You use insight to build business intelligence and you share this across your businesses and divisions. You have a strong sense of what the business and labour market need and you respond accordingly.”
He also made particular note of the fact Search had made its systems more agile and streamlined during the economic downturn, and commended the company’s shared rewards and benefit system, as well as its outstanding formal training and informal work-based learning opportunities.
Echoing his praise was Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, who said: “We’d like to congratulate Search Consultancy - Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. Search should be extremely proud of their exceptional achievement.”
