Search Aviation in the Northwest capitalises on success from this past year

It’s been an eventful and action-packed year for Search Aviation thus far, with the expansion from Gatwick to Heathrow for Crawley offices, and significant growth for the division throughout the Northwest.

From March through to August this year, Search Aviation successfully placed over 200 candidates. The biggest success that has been achieved with the placements is that over 90% have been issued with blue passes for external and internal with the remainder securing white passes for landside access. Given that the screening and compliance process is the most critical part of our recruitment process for any client, Search Aviation has played an active role in supporting their clients in this regard.

Through the division’s proactive approach, they have ensured that blue passes are ready for collection in approximately 35 days from the first interview, thus speeding up the recruitment process for clients by minimising the complexities of compliance that is required for airport workers.

This year has seen the expansion of Search’s Northwest Aviation division to Birmingham, where the team will continue to grow its presence. The Northwest offices currently provide recruitment solutions to Manchester airport, Birmingham airport, Leeds Bradford airport and East Midlands airport. Given its fast-growing client base and exposure, the division aims to expand to Newcastle Airport, Liverpool John Lennon airport, Glasgow airport and Edinburgh airport over the course of next year.

Furthermore, Search Aviation is trialling new software that will assist in the blue pass compliance process, thus increasing speed, accuracy and efficiency.
