Search recruiters lend a hand to help the homeless
Generous staff from Search Consultancy have donated food and supplies to Leeds charity St George’s Crypt and pledged their ongoing support into 2016.
Employees from the recruitment specialist’s office in Park Row were keen to support the local charity which provides food, accommodation and support to people who are homeless, vulnerable or are battling addictions.
They were inspired to donate as they were impressed by the valuable work the organisation carries out across Leeds – so much so that they have made St George’s Crypt their chosen charity for fundraising going forward.
Debbie Caswell, Search Consultancy’s managing director for England, said: “We believe it is important to take the time to think about how we can support the local communities on our doorstep.
“St George’s Crypt plays a very important role in the lives of so many people in Leeds. The support it provides is invaluable and has a lasting impact on individuals and their families.
“The festive season is a very difficult time of year for many people and it is vital that local charities receive as much support as possible so they are able to continue to carry out their fantastic work.”
Based in Great George Street, the support hub also provides training opportunities, and helps people find employment and permanent accommodation.
As well as supporting numerous good causes throughout the UK, Search is the proud recruitment partner for a number of charities. If you're interested in finding a new role in the charity sector, visit the Search website to view all available vacancies.
