Search Accountancy & Finance are working with a growing Legal firm based in Bedford who are looking for a new Practice Manager. As Practice Manager you will support the firm through a period of continued growth.
Reporting into the CEO & Board of Directors the Practice Manager will oversee Finance and the support functions of the firm.
Typical duties of the Practice Manager will include
Preparing and supporting the accounts for year end
COFA Duties
Prepare and process VAT Returns
Ensuring adherence to Solicitors Accounts Rule
Staff management and appraisals
Maintain firm's insurances and memberships
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar Practice Manager role or have worked as Finance Manager within a law firm and be familiar with the compliance required. Strong communication and IT skills are essential. This is a hands on role that would suit those that enjoyed a varied work load.Salary for the role is dependent upon experience
