This role is perfect for an ambitious and forward looking (part)qualified accountant with a desire for streamlining and implementing process improvement and standardising current processes.

This role has been newly created to automate current payroll reporting across EMEA and will therefore require an individual who is progressive and looking to add value to a business. You'll require a high level of excel skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets.

This is a fantastic business located in the heart of London's business quarters, operating a highly flexible working environment with 2 days a week in the office, and fantastic progression opportunities around the business. This role will suit an individual with accountancy qualifications but also a strong skill set with data.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of payroll accounting and reporting for the group
• Implementing on key process improvement operatives
• Ownership on automating all accounting processes
• Business Partner with key stakeholders - including payroll, HR and Operations
• Ad-hoc project work to implement new processes and systems
• Create robust financial controls around payroll
• Manipulate and analyse data and report on key findings
• Month end close for payroll, including journal posting
• Report on monthly payroll entries
• Monitor accruals and prepayments for payroll
• Balance Sheet reconciliations for payroll

Person:

• Finalist/Qualified Accountant or QBE
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Ability to implement key process improvements
• High standard of excel capabilities (Macros)
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
