Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver

We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team, completing domestic loads, curtainsider trucks with forklift tipping.

Main responsibilities:
* Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
* Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
* Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Experience:
- Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)
- Valid CPC
- Clean driving record

Location:
Ellesmere Port

Salary:
£15 - £18 PH, 10 hours minimum paid per shift, breaks paid
Holiday pay accrued separately

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, alternative days (approx.. 0600 start) and nights (approx.. 1800 start)
Weekend shifts available.
