Search celebrates annual Beyond Exceptional Awards
Much like a glamourous night at the Oscars, Search Directors, Managers and Consultants donned their fancy dresses and black ties to gather together and celebrate the growth and achievements of our top performers over the course of 2016.
The ceremony was held at the esteemed Imperial War Museum in Manchester. Out of 680 members of staff, 209 were selected to take part in the festivities. Honoured guests came from throughout the UK to commemorate the firm’s top performers.
Attendees were welcomed with a drinks reception – providing an opportunity to mingle and share experiences with colleagues, followed by a three course dinner and an entertaining address by Search’s CEO, Grahame Caswell.
Grahame highlighted the key achievements for Search over the course of 2016, sharing the following statistics:
- 10,000 Permanent jobs filled
- 26,000 Temp candidates placed
- 11,000,000 Temporary hours worked
- 3,000 Clients helped
- 100,000 Candidates added
Search Directors had their work cut out for them when selecting winners from the shortlists, with many of the finalists in different categories sharing the same prizes.
Grahame Caswell, said: “There is never a dull moment in recruitment, and last year certainly presented its fair share of challenges, not just to Search but to the industry at large - dare I mention the B Word. Still, we survived and even managed to outpace most of our competitors in the market. This would not have been achieved without our teams across the UK who went above and beyond the call of duty to execute optimal service delivery.”
“I’m particularly proud of how we have conducted ourselves as a business, working hard in through tough conditions, generating new business and retaining our client base. Over the course of last year, each of our shortlisted teams and consultants worked tirelessly to project to our competitors that we are a force to be reckoned with.”
This year’s annual awards came at the build-up to a significant milestone for Search, which is due to celebrate its 30th anniversary in October 2017. Staff members are encouraged to continue striving for service excellence – not just for next year’s celebration of top performers, but also to reflect the long-standing success of the business over the years.
