Search Consultancy named as one of Scotland’s top 100 performing businesses
Search has been named amongst the top performing business in Scotland and is currently the only recruitment company to feature in the top 100 of this year’s prestigious Business Insider Top 500.
The leading recruitment firm climbed 25 places from 124th last year to 99th in the 2017 report, following 12 months in which the company’s growth reached 10 percent.
The league table measures the performance of Scottish Headquartered companies with turnover of more the £20m and ranks businesses by a combination of turnover and pre-tax profits.
Simone Lockhart, Managing Director for Scotland said: “It’s great to see the company break through the Top 100 spot, we are really very proud to sit alongside such significant businesses in the Scottish market. It’s also nice that it happened in the year we celebrate 30 years in the Scottish recruitment market place and I’m sure it’s no coincidence that our 30 years of experience sees the company continue to grow in what have been some challenging times for the recruitment industry.
“In these changing times, Search continues to evolve which we achieve through developing the talent we have within the business, also by attracting new people, creating additional specialisms with fresh perspective and then really engaging with all our people to stay creative and innovative, but above all relevant in the market.”
Grahame Caswell, Search’s CEO adds, “We are very proud of our Scottish heritage and we are delighted to see Search named as not just a high performing recruitment company but as one of Scotland’s top 100 companies across all industry sectors.”
He continues, “Search is a UK business that is growing across all regions of the country and we continue to be heavily invested in keeping Search the most recognisable brand for delivering quality recruitment solutions to our Scottish clients and remaining one of the top recruitment companies to work for.”
Search Consultancy, which was established and is headquartered in Glasgow has a workforce of almost 700 in 13 different locations across the UK.
